The exact cause of Chronic Pelvic Pain is not always clear. Often patients with pelvic floor dysfunction may have no pain, but only have complaints of urinary frequency or chronic constipation.

No, unfortunately we cannot treat pregnant patients. However, patients with pain during pregnancy are at increased risk of pos partum pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, and we do recommend a visit 6-weeks postpartum. In all cases, please come see us if you are having pain with intercourse lasting greater than 8 weeks after giving birth.
