PRM has announced the opening of its first Tennessee location, PRM Nashville, bringing specialized care for chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis to Middle Tennessee. The new office will be celebrated with a community Grand Opening on Thursday, October 22. Read the full press release or keep reading for the highlights.
The Nashville office is an important step in bringing specialized care to patients across Middle Tennessee and nearby communities who live with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, and related conditions. As a nationwide practice, PRM hopes to become a trusted resource for patients, physicians, and healthcare providers throughout the Nashville community.
“We’re incredibly excited to officially open our first Tennessee location and become part of the Nashville healthcare community,” said Allyson Augusta Shrikhande, MD, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of PRM. “Opening in Nashville allows us to expand access to specialized pelvic pain and endometriosis care while building meaningful relationships with local providers and community partners who are committed to helping patients find answers and receive the care they deserve.”
PRM Nashville is led locally by Dr. Tarek Toubia, a board-certified gynecologic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive surgery for endometriosis, fibroids, and complex pelvic conditions. Rachel Walker, MSN, WHNP-BC, a women’s health nurse practitioner and pelvic pain specialist, is part of the team too.
The Nashville team works alongside gynecologists, surgeons, physical therapists, and other women’s health providers to help patients make sense of complex pelvic pain and find the right treatment. The office cares for patients with endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain.
The Grand Opening is also a chance for local providers to meet the PRM Nashville team. PRM has been reaching out to OBGYNs, women’s health nurse practitioners, pelvic floor physical therapists, and other providers who care for patients with pelvic pain. The event lets them see what the new office offers and talk about referrals and ways to work together.
Local hospital and healthcare teams, advocacy organizations, and other community partners are welcome too. If you refer patients with pelvic pain, this is a good chance to put faces to names.
PRM is marking the opening with a community event on Thursday, October 22, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the new office. Guests can tour the space, meet PRM physicians and team members, hear live music from Nashville artist Kennedy Scott, visit four local vendors, and enter giveaways. Special guest Jennifer Hart, a Nashville country artist and PRM patient ambassador, will share her experience as a PRM patient.
Attendance is free, but registration is required and space is limited. Register on Eventbrite to reserve a spot.
