PRM was founded on the belief that there had to be a better way to treat pelvic pain. PRM was founded by expert doctors and a pelvic pain patient who demanded a better way just the way our patients do. At PRM, we are trying to change something in healthcare that has been the same since the dawn of time – and we won’t stop until pelvic pain patients everywhere have access to care that is more effective, more comfortable, and safer than anything else. Our leadership team won’t stop until everyone has access to The PRM Protocol™.
Our dedication to our patients, and to advancing the field of medicine that treats pelvic pain does not stop in the clinical offices. PRM has started our own Clinical Advisory Board, made up of national leaders, to help publish, discuss, and move the field of pelvic pain forward – all over the country and in multiple specialties. Our team believes in PRM, in our mission, and progressing our field.
We don’t believe “a glass of wine will fix it” or that “it’s all in your head”.
We will never abandon you.

Dr. Allyson Augusta Shrikhande, MD – Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Allyson Augusta Shrikhande is a physician-founder, national women’s health expert, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM), where she is helping build a new model of care for women living with endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, painful sex, pelvic floor dysfunction, and post-surgical pelvic pain. Her work focuses on closing one of the most overlooked gaps in women’s health: the years women spend being dismissed, misdiagnosed, or treated in fragments rather than receiving a comprehensive recovery plan. Her own experience with persistent postpartum pelvic pain revealed a significant gap in care, one that inspired her to co-found PRM alongside her husband, Dr. Gautam Shrikhande.
What began as a practice focused on expanding access to the PRM Protocol™ has evolved into a national network of multidisciplinary Centers of Excellence dedicated to advancing research, physician education, earlier diagnosis, and comprehensive pelvic pain care. Dr. Shrikhande is passionate about helping patients feel heard, believed, and empowered with a clear path forward.
A recognized leader in Women’s Health, Dr. Shrikhande founded the Outpatient Women’s Musculoskeletal Center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell and has dedicated her career to advancing care for patients with complex pelvic pain conditions. Today, she is particularly committed to improving early recognition of endometriosis and pelvic pain, expanding research in women’s health, and redefining the standard of care through integrated, evidence-informed treatment. She believes every patient deserves compassionate care, a thoughtful diagnosis, and the opportunity to reclaim their quality of life.
As Vice President of Operations at Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM), Ashley leads the operational strategy behind PRM’s rapidly growing, nationwide network of Center of Excellence Clinics. With a focus on scalable systems, clinical quality, and patient-centered efficiency, she ensures every practice delivers exceptional outcomes and compassionate care. Ashley ensures PRM’s mission—to restore pelvic health and quality of life for every patient—comes to life across every practice. Backed by a data-driven approach and deep operational expertise, she partners with multiple teams to expand access to PRM’s innovative treatment model and deliver lasting impact for patients across the country.
Eric Bomarsi serves as Chief of Staff at PRM, where he supports operational leadership, strategic initiatives, and cross-department coordination to enhance patient care and clinic growth.
