Miami, FL, Oct. 22, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — PRM proudly announces that Robyn Power, DO, fellowship-trained endometriosis excision surgeon and minimally invasive gynecologic specialist, is expanding her role with PRM to lead surgical care at the Miami Center of Excellence.
Dr. Power is a double board-certified OB/GYN and gynecologic surgeon who has dedicated her career to advancing care for patients with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. Her approach is rooted in partnership, education, and empathy, ensuring that every patient feels heard, validated, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
At PRM, Dr. Power brings a wealth of expertise in advanced endometriosis excision surgery, pelvic floor restoration, and fertility-sparing techniques. She performs complex laparoscopic surgeries, including deep endometriosis excision involving the bowel, bladder, and diaphragm, while maintaining a focus on preserving organ function and improving long-term quality of life.
“Endometriosis care isn’t one-size-fits-all,” says Dr. Power. “It’s about meeting each patient where they are, listening to their story, and creating a path forward that’s both evidence-based and compassionate.”
Dr. Power’s expansion within PRM reflects her commitment to delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care through the PRM Protocol™, a model that integrates:
Pre-Habilitation: Preparing the body for surgery through pelvic floor therapy, inflammation reduction, and pain management.
Expert Excision Surgery: Precisely removing endometriosis tissue while preserving function and fertility whenever possible.
Post-Habilitation: Supporting recovery and preventing recurrence through physical rehabilitation, hormonal optimization, and ongoing care.
This coordinated model reduces the number of surgeries patients may require over their lifetime and provides continuous, whole-body support.
Dr. Power’s leadership at PRM’s Miami Center of Excellence ensures patients will have access to the highest level of surgical precision, multidisciplinary collaboration, and compassionate care under one roof.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Power is a dedicated advocate for women’s health and an active member of the Endometriosis Foundation of America (EndoFound). Earlier this year, she participated in the New York City Marathon as part of Team EndoFound, running on behalf of her patients and all those affected by endometriosis, demonstrating her passion for advocacy and community beyond the operating room.
At PRM, Dr. Power continues to embody the organization’s mission: to reduce the time patients suffer from pelvic pain. Her leadership and advocacy further solidify PRM’s commitment to expanding access to expert endometriosis care across the nation.
Dr. Robyn Power is now seeing patients at PRM’s Miami Center of Excellence.
