A Pelvic Pain Specialist Focused on Listening First

One of the most common experiences among patients with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain is not being believed. Tiffany’s care philosophy starts by changing that experience.

Her approach centers on listening carefully, validating patient experiences, and building individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Many patients she treats have seen multiple providers before finally receiving an accurate diagnosis or comprehensive treatment plan. By taking the time to understand each patient’s full history and symptoms, she helps patients move closer to answers and long-term symptom management.

Specializing in Endometriosis, Hormonal Health, and Chronic Pelvic Pain

Tiffany Gomez specializes in treating a range of endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, hormonal imbalances, painful periods, pain with intercourse, pelvic floor dysfunction, adenomyosis, and other complex gynecologic symptoms.

Her background in women’s health, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and complex gynecologic care gives her a comprehensive understanding of how hormonal, muscular, and nerve-related conditions can all contribute to pelvic pain.

A Multidisciplinary Approach to Pelvic Pain Treatment

At PRM’s San Antonio Center of Excellence, Tiffany works as part of a multidisciplinary team that treats pelvic pain using a comprehensive, coordinated approach. This model focuses not only on diagnosing conditions like endometriosis, but also on treating the muscular, nerve, and inflammatory components of pain.

This multidisciplinary approach may include:

  • Pelvic pain evaluations
  • Hormonal management
  • Pelvic floor therapy
  • Neuromuscular treatment
  • Coordination with excision surgeons when needed
  • Long-term pelvic pain management

The goal is not just short-term symptom relief, but long-term improvement in quality of life.

Education and Clinical Experience

Tiffany earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) from Texas Woman’s University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Wayland Baptist University. She brings extensive clinical experience in women’s health and labor and delivery, with prior roles in both hospital and OBGYN practice settings.

Caring for Patients Who Have Been Waiting for Answers

Tiffany is especially passionate about working with patients who have spent years searching for answers to their pain. Many patients with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain experience long diagnostic delays and are often told their symptoms are normal or unexplained. Her goal is to help change that experience by providing thorough evaluations, evidence-based care, and a treatment plan that addresses the full picture of pelvic pain.

She strongly believes pelvic pain should be recognized and treated early, not normalized or ignored.
