A Specialist in Endometriosis and Complex Pelvic Pain

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects an estimated 1 in 10 women, yet many patients spend 7–10 years searching for a diagnosis and effective treatment.

Dr. Goldstein has dedicated much of his career to caring for patients with these complex conditions. Since 2007, his practice has focused on pelvic pain, endometriosis surgery, and advanced robotic gynecologic procedures.

Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 1,000 advanced robotic gynecologic surgeries, often treating patients with challenging or deeply infiltrating endometriosis.

His expertise includes:

  • Robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
  • Treatment of deeply infiltrating endometriosis

  • Nerve-sparing surgical techniques

  • Fertility-preserving procedures

  • Treatment of fibroids and other benign gynecologic conditions

Dr. Goldstein’s approach focuses on precision, safety, and restoring quality of life for patients who have often struggled with pain for years.

Advanced Robotic Surgery for Endometriosis

Dr. Goldstein was an early adopter of the Da Vinci robotic surgical platform, using this technology to perform complex procedures with enhanced precision and visualization.

Minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques can offer several benefits for patients, including:

  • Smaller incisions

  • Reduced blood loss

  • Faster recovery times

  • Improved surgical precision

  • Better outcomes for complex pelvic conditions

These techniques are particularly valuable when treating deeply infiltrating endometriosis, which can affect the ovaries, bowel, bladder, and pelvic nerves.

A Patient-Centered Approach to Care

For many patients living with chronic pelvic pain or endometriosis, the path to treatment can be long and frustrating.

Many have seen multiple providers, undergone various treatments, or had their symptoms dismissed.

Dr. Goldstein believes the first step in effective care is listening to patients’ experiences and understanding their full story.

His care philosophy includes:

  • Taking time to understand each patient’s symptoms and history

  • Educating patients about their diagnosis and treatment options

  • Collaborating with other pelvic health specialists

  • Creating personalized treatment plans

This collaborative approach helps ensure patients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout their care journey.
